Depress\u00e3o, ansiedade e burnout s\u00e3o cada vez mais reconhecidos como condi\u00e7\u00f5es incapacitantes. A OMS classificou oficialmente o burnout como fen\u00f3meno ocupacional na CID-11, refor\u00e7ando a import\u00e2ncia da preven\u00e7\u00e3o e tratamento. A Ordem dos Psic\u00f3logos Portugueses (OPP) estima que cerca de 20% dos trabalhadores portugueses referem sintomas de burnout.<\/p><p>Em Portugal, as perturba\u00e7\u00f5es de <b>sa\u00fade mental<\/b> representam j\u00e1 a segunda causa mais frequente de baixa m\u00e9dica, depois das doen\u00e7as m\u00fasculo-esquel\u00e9ticas. Este aumento reflete o impacto do stress ocupacional, das condi\u00e7\u00f5es laborais adversas, da incerteza econ\u00f3mica e, desde a pandemia COVID-19, de uma maior consciencializa\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediconanet.pt\/produto\/consulta-de-psicologia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>sa\u00fade mental<\/b><\/a>. A DGS reconhece estas condi\u00e7\u00f5es como motivo leg\u00edtimo para CIT quando impedem o exerc\u00edcio da atividade profissional.<\/p><h2><strong>Burnout: Reconhecer os Sinais<\/strong><\/h2><p>O burnout caracteriza-se por tr\u00eas dimens\u00f5es: exaust\u00e3o emocional, despersonaliza\u00e7\u00e3o (cinismo em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao trabalho) e redu\u00e7\u00e3o da realiza\u00e7\u00e3o pessoal. Os sinais de alerta incluem fadiga persistente que n\u00e3o melhora com descanso, ins\u00f3nia, irritabilidade, dificuldade de concentra\u00e7\u00e3o, desmotiva\u00e7\u00e3o total, dores de cabe\u00e7a e musculares frequentes, e isolamento social.<\/p><p>A European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) identifica o stress laboral cr\u00f3nico como principal fator de risco. Profiss\u00f5es com elevada exig\u00eancia emocional \u2014 sa\u00fade, educa\u00e7\u00e3o, servi\u00e7os sociais \u2014 s\u00e3o particularmente vulner\u00e1veis, mas o burnout pode afetar qualquer trabalhador em qualquer setor.<\/p><h2><strong>Como Pedir Baixa por Sa\u00fade Mental?<\/strong><\/h2><p>O processo \u00e9 id\u00eantico ao de qualquer outra doen\u00e7a. O trabalhador consulta o m\u00e9dico de fam\u00edlia ou psiquiatra, que avalia o quadro cl\u00ednico e emite o CIT se considerar que existe incapacidade tempor\u00e1ria. N\u00e3o \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio revelar o diagn\u00f3stico espec\u00edfico ao empregador \u2014 o CIT indica apenas incapacidade para o trabalho.<\/p><p>A Sociedade Portuguesa de Psiquiatria e Sa\u00fade Mental (SPPSM) e a Ordem dos M\u00e9dicos defendem a desestigmatiza\u00e7\u00e3o da doen\u00e7a mental e o acesso equitativo \u00e0 prote\u00e7\u00e3o social. Nenhum trabalhador deve sentir-se constrangido em procurar ajuda m\u00e9dica para uma perturba\u00e7\u00e3o de sa\u00fade mental.<\/p><h2><strong>Tratamento e Recupera\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/h2><p>O tratamento \u00e9 multimodal: psicoterapia (nomeadamente cognitivo-comportamental), medica\u00e7\u00e3o (antidepressivos, ansiol\u00edticos quando necess\u00e1rio) e altera\u00e7\u00f5es do estilo de vida (exerc\u00edcio f\u00edsico, higiene do sono, t\u00e9cnicas de gest\u00e3o do stress). O acompanhamento regular por m\u00e9dico de fam\u00edlia, psiquiatra e\/ou psic\u00f3logo \u00e9 fundamental.<\/p><p>A OPP defende que o acesso \u00e0 psicoterapia deveria ser mais facilitado no SNS, dado o impacto comprovado na recupera\u00e7\u00e3o e preven\u00e7\u00e3o de reca\u00eddas. A terapia cognitivo-comportamental demonstrou efic\u00e1cia equivalente \u00e0 medica\u00e7\u00e3o em casos de depress\u00e3o ligeira a moderada, com menor taxa de reca\u00edda.<\/p><h2><strong>Preven\u00e7\u00e3o no Local de Trabalho<\/strong><\/h2><p>A preven\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 responsabilidade partilhada entre empregadores e trabalhadores. As empresas devem promover ambientes saud\u00e1veis com cargas realistas, autonomia, reconhecimento e apoio social. A legisla\u00e7\u00e3o portuguesa obriga \u00e0 avalia\u00e7\u00e3o dos riscos psicossociais no \u00e2mbito da seguran\u00e7a e sa\u00fade no trabalho.<\/p><p>A EU-OSHA recomenda programas de bem-estar organizacional, forma\u00e7\u00e3o de chefias em gest\u00e3o do stress e canais de apoio psicol\u00f3gico acess\u00edveis.
